
In the shift towards a fossil-free society, electrifying our cities represents a significant milestone. However, when it comes to public transportation and buses, it's not as simple as just installing a charging station at home. Instead, a complete rethinking is necessary, involving route planning, scheduled charging stops, capacity, safety zones, and even ticket pricing. In a comprehensive global communication concept, all markets managed to come together despite varying levels of societal readiness across different countries. The concept encompasses everything from trade show materials, social media, product catalogs, to PR materials, offering much more than just an electric bus. It represents Volvo Buses' approach to transforming the entire public transport system.
Not only have I developed the entire concept, but I have also directed this film that describes the Volvo Buses manifesto. And a film about the delivery of 145 electric buses to the city of Gothenburg.
